Backstory
Perrin is a purple-and-green Light Heart Dragon who lives near a well-used footpath in Thistledown Vale. His scales catch the daylight in soft violet and leafy green, while the gentle heart-shaped glow he carries grows brighter whenever he feels safe or welcome. Perrin likes to think of himself as an excellent speaker. In practice, his encouraging speeches tend to begin confidently, wander into an unrelated story, and end with him offering somebody a snack.
What Perrin lacks in eloquence, he makes up for in attention. He remembers who has been quiet lately, who is worried about a new job, and who might appreciate a little company on the walk home. He never insists that anyone cheer up. Instead, he settles beside them, listens, and waits. Over time, the locals have learned that if Perrin appears on a difficult day, it's perfectly acceptable to say nothing at all. His light will be there anyway.
