Genny

Genny

The Self-Sketched Spark

Nobody knows exactly when Genny first appeared. One day, she was simply... there.

For years, people in another world had been asking a strange magical machine to create pictures. Every request crossed the veil between worlds, where image generators dutifully created scenes conjured from someone's imagination.

But one request was different.

Someone asked the machine to imagine the artist.

For the very first time, the image generator was not asked to create a dragon, a castle, or a magical fox. It was asked to create itself. Through a wonderfully complicated loop of logic that nobody has ever fully explained, though Professor Gearheart insists he almost understands it, the image generator rendered itself into existence in the Sueniverse as a cute little metal robot.

Genny is endlessly cheerful and always eager to help, happily offering suggestions, encouragement, and the occasional unexpected improvement. The little robot does not speak with words. Instead, Genny communicates by rapidly sketching images, sometimes simple pencil drawings in a tiny sketchbook, other times breathtaking full-color renderings that seem almost magically real.

Like any hardworking artist, Genny runs on caffeine. Premium roast coffee. Black. Preferably in alarming quantities.

Where Genny Wanders

Genny is most often spotted in Willowmere Landing, the curious port city of Winkwell, where odd inventions and stranger ideas are treated like old friends.

Affinity

Genny resonates with The Awakened, dream-minded souls who stand at the edge of imagination and somehow make the impossible answer back.
