Description
Coming soon: Genny is in the final stages of research and development and will be available for purchase soon. Orders are not open yet.
A little artist. A very expressive face. A place beside you.
Meet Genny, a handmade desktop companion from the Sueniverse. She sketches, dreams, enjoys pretend coffee, and has very definite opinions about lemons. Give her a gentle boop, watch her next picture take shape, or simply share a quiet moment while you get on with your day.
Her personality lives in the small things: a curious glance, a pleased little sound, a sleepy yawn, or the face she makes when you have poked her quite enough.
Get to know that face
Tap her nose, stroke a cheek, or discover a quick double boop. Genny responds with expressions, captions, and little robot sounds. She notices nearby company, and her motion sensor lets her react to gentle taps, tilts, turns, and being picked up. Leave her to rest and she may drift off to sleep.
Stay for the next drawing
Watch her draw stroke by stroke, complete with a moving pencil, thoughtful pauses, and a signature at the end. Some pictures are simple line drawings; others are quite detailed. She is still discovering her artistic style.
Choose an installed sketch from her browser gallery, let her choose what comes next, or use a Pencil token to ask for a surprise. Genny brings her installed artwork to life on screen; watching the process is part of the pleasure.
Small snacks. Strong opinions.
Offer a reusable snack token near the left side of her head and see what she thinks. Cookie, tea, coffee, cupcake, lemon, chili, ice cream, fizzy soda, and Mystery each have their own possibilities. Her pretend pantry supplies the treats and gradually replenishes while she is running.
Feeling adventurous? Try the lemon. You have been warned.
A little life of her own
Illustrated dreams may visit while she sleeps. A Dream Wand token invites a glimpse of those dream pictures, even when she started wide awake. You can also settle in with an installed illustrated story and scroll at your own pace.
Rest, company, snacks, and making art gently influence her Inner World. Her browser page lets you peek at those changing tendencies and her current craving. They are little glimpses of her day, with no scorecard to keep full.
Company at your pace
- Local browser controls: choose sketches, offer snacks, play peekaboo, read installed stories, and adjust preferences from your phone or computer. No companion app is required.
- A little clock: ask Genny to draw a dial and show her local time.
- Your sound and screen settings: adjust volume, brightness, sleep timeout, and automatic sketching.
- Quiet Hours: schedule ordinary sounds to stay silent. Optional bedtime and morning reminders have their own switches; those performances can sound during Quiet Hours unless volume is Off.
- Offline company: touch, snack tokens, and installed drawings and stories work without Internet access. Clock synchronization after power-up needs Internet access.
Her touchscreen responds best to a fingernail or touchscreen stylus; a soft fingertip may be less responsive. Use gentle touches and movements as you get to know her.
Made by hand, one Genny at a time
TBC3d is a one-person operation. I design, build, assemble, and test each Genny myself—from her 3D-printed enclosure to the expressions and little moments that give her personality. Genny is a desktop companion, not a toy.
And yes, she loves to wear hats. Some hats will be available separately in the TBC3d store.
She has a story, too
Genny comes from Winkwell in the Sueniverse: a cheerful sketchbot with a love of art, curiosity, and excellent black coffee. Get to know the character behind that expressive face.
